THE THREE OF US

Good morning fellow scrappers. Today I am featuring a page from my album of a photo taken of my mum, her sister and myself as a baby. It is a very simple page. The backing is a piece of brown cardstock. The papers used in this LO are from Kaisercraft, they do such beautiful papers. I have folded a piece of  the Kaisercraft Paper to get the effect of a Curtain. A piece of ribbon was tied around the paper to hold it back.

 The flowers I placed on the LO are Kaisercraft and I also used Kaisercraft Jewels. I often hunt around for beautiful pieces of lace and the lace on this page is one of the nice pieces of lace I have in my stash for pages.

GATEFOLD CARD

Today I have made my first Birthday Card for this year. I decided to make a Gatefold Card.

The paper I used is Alla- Prima Collection - "Composition", it is such pretty paper. I like a larger card so I cut out from my cardstock a piece 11" x 5 1/2" this makes a good sized card. I then scored in from both edges 2 3/4 ", and then folded in the two pieces.

I then proceeded to decorate the inside of the card and stamp a beautiful saying from my Kaszazz Stamps in the middle of the card. Then to the front. I cut out enough shapes to make six flowersand then sprayed them with a light green ink spray I had, I cut out three scallops, did a bit of stamping and then attached these to the front of the card. These leaves were cut from a Marianne Die and are very dainty and are just the right size for cards. I added a few jewels to the centres of the flowers and then attached a piece of aqua ribbon to the card.

This card was easy to make and I think it packs quite a punch.

Hi Everyone. This page as you will see is not from my albums but a very special page I have done of My Grandmother on her wedding day. I see that the weather is expected to turn nasty in North Queensland over the next few days, will be perfect scrapbooking weather.

This photo is my favourite photo taken of my grandmother on her wedding day, the way the photo is just taken in the family garden and her bouquet which my mum had told me had been made from Asparagus Fern and Flowers from the family garden. How Simple!!!!

I love the Pearl Jewel Cluster which I picked up from a scrapbooking shop recently. It compliments the laser cut doily nicely. I also used my new Kaszazz Stamp - from the New Product Catalogue - Esprit Verveine Un-Cut Set (4). These stamps are truly beautiful and add a lovely touch to cards and scrapbook pages. FRAMED PAGE

I am not sure what paper I used on this page, although it looks familiar, I think it may be Bo Bunny.
I then punched around a piece of Vanilla  cardstock with a Martha Stewart punch. Cut out my dies  - Cherry Lynn Designs - Italian Flourish and Cottage Cutz - Leaf die. I placed the doily die onto the cardstock under the photo and then proceeded to lay the flowers and embellishments on my page.
This page is at the moment hanging on a wall in a 12" x 12" Box Frame.

ALBUM PAGES

Over the next few weeks I have decided that each day I will post a page from my albums. These pages are specially scrapbooked by me to enable them to be placed in albums ( for example they do not have a lot of embellishments etc., on the pages) which makes them nice and flat. As these pages were done over some time I do not remember what papers and embellishments I have used, but I will post a few photos of the pages and this will enable you to copy any of the designs you may like.
