SHE GLOWS

THIS IS A PAGE TO ADD TO MY DAUGHTER IN LAW'S WEDDING PAGES.
THE PAPER I USED IS ONCE AGAIN BO BUNNY, NOT SURE OF THE NAME OF THIS PAPER, BUT I LOVED THE BLUE TONES AND THOUGHT IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT SCRPBOOKING PAGE. I PUNCHED ALL AROUND THE PAPER WITH A MARTHA STEWART ROUND THE PAGE PUNCH. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE PUNCHES AND THE DEEP EDGE PUNCHES ARE WONDERFUL.THE LACEY PIECE AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM IS A CHERRY LYNN DIE VERY DAINTY. THE PAPER BEHIND THE PHOTO WAS PUNCHED WITH A MARTHA STEWART DEEP EDGE PUNCH. I DID A BIT OF SATAMPING IN BROWN COLOR BOX CHALK INK. THE CHANDELIER AT THE TOP WAS PAINTED WITH A PALE BLUE SHIMMERY PAINT. THE PALE BLUE FLOWERS ARE BY PRIMA AND THE SILVER EMBELLISHMENT I PINCHED OFF ANOTHER PROJECT I HAD DONE THAT I WASN'T TOO KEEN ON. ADDED SOME BLUE JEWELS AND A COUPLE OF HANDMADE BUTTERFLIES AND THE PAGE WAS FINISHED. I MISS DOING THESE PAGES, BUT HAVE TO FINISH OFF THE BOYS ALBUMS, THEY HAVE BEEN A WORK IN PROGRESS FOR 13 YEARS.

PALM COVE

This photo was taken on the Jetty at Palm Cover of my daughter in law and her Bridesmaids. The paper I used is Bo Bunny's "Country Garden" selection. These papers are great and such beautiful colours. I distressed the edges, and then coloured them with Tim Holtz "Vintage Photo" Distress Ink. I cut out the sign with Tim Holtz Big Shotz Die. I then painted it with Maya Road Yellow Mustard, which has a shimmer in the paint. I then found the flowers on a project I had done, but did not particularly like it. The flowers were pink, so I also sprayed them with Maya Road Yellow Mustard Paint. I found some Pearls in mum's stash and and gold fan embellishment, added a few green jewels and the page was finished. I really enjoyed doing this page and it was simple and turned out quiet a nice page. Hope you all enjoy it.

You Look Lovely Today

I really enjoyed scrapping this page. Firstly I decided to add brown into the pink colour, I didn't know if it would be the right colour for the photo but it turned out great. The paper is from Glitz Design " Pretty In Pink". I white washed a brick wall on the paper, then cut out one the hearts from my Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge at 8 1/2". The little pink flowers are Prima, they are so cute and were just the right colour to match the paper. The dressmakers dummy is from Kaisercraft wood embellishments. Added some pearls, a transparency, a couple of small antique doilies from my stash and added linda's name and a few pearls and the page was done. This is one of my favourite pages. I hope you enjoy it.

The string of pears was a bit fiddly to attach. I glued it in just a few places with  glossy accents.

LIFE IS GOOD

I  thought I would have a change from the girlie photos and do a male layout. I had some Graphic 45 Old Curiosity Shoppe paper, stickers and cardboard cutouts, so I went to work scrapping this page. This is a photo taken after my son's wedding, sitting in the back of The Hummer getting ready to be driven to the reception. He seemed very pleased with himself, by the look on his face. I painted some chipboard alphabets with Maya Mist "Popsicle Blue" which was the perfect colour to match the paper.

The cardboard cutouts and stickers which come with this paper are so great. I have noticed that most of the paper which is being designed and in the shops recently, have a whole set of embellishments to create a page, I think this is a great idea. You can do a whole theme with very little wastage. Hope you enjoy this fun page.

BEST FRIENDS

I love this photo of  my daughter in law an her best friend putting her jewellery on for her wedding. Firstly I stamped the Vanilla Bazzill with my Cookie Dough stamp pad from my Colour Box Ink Range. I then picked out a piece of paper from my stash and tore the edges, I cut three keys out from my Marianne Dies and also a Cherry Lynn Butterfly, which I glitzed up with Fairy Dust ( love fairy dust).  Dug around in my lace box and found a nice piece of lace material for the side of the layout. Added a doily which I painted black and placed behind the photo. I had some apricot flowers which went well with the colour scheme. Added an ornate frame which I spritzed, the quote in the frame reads " A REAL FRIEND IS ONE WHO WALKS IN WHEN THE REST OF THE WORLD WALKS OUT". Added a bit of bling and voila a scrapbooking page finished.  Hope you enjoy the page.

Tim Holtz Paper Roses with your Cricut

CHERISH YESTERDAY

This photo was taken at my son's wedding, before the actual wedding took place. Everyone had travelled to Adelaide for their engagement party only to be told during the proceedings that everyone was actually attending their SURPRISE WEDDING. It was so exciting . My daughter in law to be looked so happy in this photo it was lovely to scrap

The layout was scrapbooked in Bazzil cardstock and Kaszazz Papers. I tore the edges of the paper and placed it on the cardstock. Backed the photo, and had it ready to apply to the page. I then went to the task of making the flowers. I used my George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge and cut the flower at 2". I have three layers in the flower, then I proceeded to shape and mould them and I used Ice Stickles and some stamens to give the flowers Bling. I used Croco Crackle Paint (Bronze) and painted the chipboard flourishes and also painted the Kaisercraft Birdcage in the same paint. After doing this I started to put together the page. I added some bling, matching lace a Stamped Monogram H from the Kaszazz Stamp Range. Also used on the page were Kaszazz Rub Ons and lastly I cut from one of my Cherry Lynn Butterfly dies, the butterfly in the left hand corner, covered it with hot set powder, sprinkled some Fairy Dust onto the butterfly. Set it all using my heat gun and the page was completed.

NANNY

Hi Everybody,

I absolutely love Sweet Nothings Collection. This is a page of my Grandmother and her Brother Leslie. I called her Nanny. Once again I have used everything Sweet Nothings. I distressed around all the paper and collectables to give them an older look. And in the second picture the little Cupid has been raised and also the Cameo. The Flowers are by Prima and the antique lace is Kaszazz. The stamp in the left hand corner is Darkroom Door from their Love Letters Collection. These stamps are lovely. Brads are by Kaszazz they give an antique look. If you want any more information of this page please email me.

BEAUTIFUL

Hi,

At the moment everything in Scrapbooking is Shabby Chic for me. This photo is of my daughter in law on her wedding day. The paper used is Kaisercraft Chanteuse Collection. The Flowers and Leaves by Prima, the Lace is from Kaisercraft  and the Pearls are Prima. The little doilie behind the flowers is also from the Kaisercraft range. I wanted to capture the look on my daughter in laws face in this layout. It is one of my recent favourites.

GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER

Hi,

This vintage page is of my great grandmother Nellie Lincoln. The page was done with the Kiasercraft Sweet Nothings Collection. I used their papers and rubons. The Cameo Design Frame was cut out on the cricut with the Elegant Borders Cartridge, it is great. The flowers Prima, the small envelope by Mayer Road. I did some stamping on the page and added a few embellishments I had in my stack. The Paper Lace accross the bottom was done with the new Kaszazz Cut and Emboss Die. I love anything vintage.( please double click on photos and you will be able to see the work done on the page close up)
