TISSUE BOX WITH MATCHING CARD

Hi Everybody,

Today I am featuring an example of a Tissue Box and Card set I have made for a birthday gift.
This Tissue Box and Card is solely made from Kaszazz Products.  The base of the tissue box and card is made from Kaszazz Card Pack - Natural. The paper I used to decorate the box and card with is from their SB  range of papers called - Funky Forest, this being a very versatile paper. I then pressed the design onto each piece of paper to attach to the base with my Ezy Press Die - Miss You. Using Tim Holtz Distress Inks I inked these embossed pieces and then attached them to the box and card. I decorated the box with some organza brown ribbon and an Ezy Press die called Leafy Flourish. I punched out flowers with my Kaszazz Flower punches, sprayed them, and carefully shaped the petals and let the flowers dry. I placed an Antique Gem Brad in the centre of each flower. If you would like to purchase any of these products, please email me kerryneilly@hotmail.com or go to the Kaszazz Online Website where you can view the Kaszazz Catalogue  and you can order directly. My Consultant Number is 107568. I am sure you will like these boxes they are lots of fun to make and are a lovely gift to give.

EXPLODING BOX

Well I was sick most of last week with a flu virus and today is the first day I have felt like doing some craft, so here it is. It is an exploding box I have made for a birthday card. In my Saturday Afternoon Scrapbooking Class the girls also made an exploding box each, one for a birthday card and one for a mothers day card. They were finishing their boxes off at home, and they promised to take some photos so I can post them on the blog.

Here is the top of the box. I have made a flower from Cheery Lynn "Italian Flourish" die, and then placed some pearls, a flower and leaves ( Prima ) to decorate it. A little ribbon always looks nice on these boxes.

After I finished the top of the box, I then proceeded to decorate inside the box. I added a few stamps, some pearls another flower, butterflies and yes some more ribbon, so when it opens it looks so pretty.
The paper I used is Kaisercraft "Magnolia Grove" and the Happy Birthday Stamp is by Kaszazz. I am going to finish the box off with a tag with a birthday message on, and slip under the flower on the top of the box. These boxes are lots of fun to make. The instructions are on the Kaisercraft Blog  under "Explosion Box Tutorial". Hope you all make a box for a special person.

Beautiful and Elegant

I have for some time wanted to scrap the bodice of  my daughter in law's Wedding Dress. I just couldn't seem to think of the right design for the page. On the weekend it all seem to come together and below is the page I scrapped with two photos of the bodice. The jewel work on her dress was beautiful as you can see.

As the back of the wedding dress was laced up I thought it would be nice to incorporate that aspect of the dress into the page. When my mum passed away, I inherited my mum's stash of beautiful flowers, which even today seems to be endless, so I can really indulge (with the flowers) on my pages. Everytime I use the flowers I think of her.

THE WEDDING CAKE

Hi Everyone,

This week in my scrapbooking group, we are going to try our hand at embossing, painting, stamping etc., on a scrapbooking layout. I had a lovely Picture of my daughter in law's wedding cake and decided to do a page with the photo. I have done some embossing in two of the corners. I made the two flowers and then sprayed them with Smooch Spritz. Did a bit of stamping with my Kaszazz stamps, and had a nice Sizzix Die which I used. Today was my mahjong day, and I must say I had quite a good day today compared to my last couple of weeks. The sky is gloomy as the moment and maybe we will get a storm tonight. I hope you enjoy this page.

Boxed Card

To make this card I used pieces of Black, Blue and Vanilla Cardstock. Firstly the card was made, it measures 5 1/2" x 6". The base of the card is made from the vanilla Cardstock, then a piece of black cardstock is placed on the front 1/4" smaller. I then cut out a nice square design on my cricut and attached it to the front of the card. I used my Cherry Lynn Flourish Die for the flourishes behind the flower, and  made the leaves and flower using Tim Holtz - Tattered Leaves and Tattered Flowers Big Dies. I inked the leaves with three colours of Tim Holtz Distressed Inks, they were then sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist " Kiwi " and then just in certain places I covered the leaves with glossy accents, this gives a nice shine to the leaves. After cutting the flowers out with the die, I inked the edges with the same blue Distress Ink I used on the leaves, I then wet the paper and shaped the flower how I wanted it and put it aside to dry.  I cut  two small shapes on the cricut and stamped the vanilla piece with the words "with love". I then proceeded to make the box for the card and decorate it similar adding a piece of matching satin ribbon around the top of the box to finish it off. These boxed cards make a lovely Birthday Gift for friends.

THE WEDDING DRESS

Hello,

On Saturday in class we are doing a page on layering. The page I have done is of the Shoulder of my daughter in law's Wedding Dress. This arrangement of jewels was made by a lady in Melbourne. Truly beautiful. The page is full of layered pieces of paper. I did a lot of fussy cutting around the edges  of the paper, then distressed the pieces, and followed up by inking around the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Photo. Then added some lace,  flowers, and some jewels I have had in my stash for a few years. The Paper is used is from Kaisercraft Range - Magnolia Grove Collection this paper gave a good vintage feel. I loved scrapping this page.

BIRTHDAY CARD

I have been busy making birthday cards, it is that time of the year again, from now till July, it is full on with birthdays in the family. The above birthday card is a design from Kaszazz. It was a lot of fun to make, with lots of inking, stamping, making a tag, and using a small amount of Washi Tape. We are off to celebrate my son's Birthday with him.We are booked into a Thai Restaurant to celebrate with him and his wife on Friday night. ( Not on my diet but  I am looking forward to it anyway) and just maybe indulging in a glass of wine ( I miss my wine in the afternoon, every afternoon I have a soda water with a dash of lemon in a wine glass and call it my mock wine, not the same as the real thing).
