THURSDAY EMBELLISHMENTS

Hi Everyone, Today I am posting a video on how to make Shabby Chic Canvas Flowers. This is a great video and the flowers are lovely and would make a great embellishment to any scrapbook Layout.

TECHNIQUE WEDNESDAY

Today I thought I would post a video on how to do an 8 x 8 layout. I have just finished an 81/2 x 81/2 layout and found it quite hard to think of a design I am so used to doing the larger pages. I find it really hard to go from 12 x 12 layouts down to the smaller ones. I feel I want to add too much to the smaller pages. I think the smaller pages are better if kept simple. Thought today that I would post 2 x 8 1/2" pages I have done on my Foster Cats. I decided I would keep a record of the cats that pass through my home. My first two pages were scrapped with Bella - Light of my Life - My Romance Paper. It is such a pretty pink. I backed the photos in Bazzill cardstock Vanilla and Pink. Flowers I picked up at Spotlight Little Birdie - Floral Cafe- they were just the right size for a smaller page. Ruby Rock-It Reminisce Pink Trimmings and Bella Pink Heart Stickers. I used some small green leaves and a heart die. I had an 81/2 " square album I had bought a few years ago which I am using. Hope you enjoy my page.
